Since the late '80s the term "WYSIWYG" has implied a graphical
bitmapped display, proportional fonts, accurate scaling and so on,
none of which is provided by a VT102 terminal.

There are alternatives to ee, for example emacs, nano & jed, but none
of them are WYSIWYG (and neither is ee).
