On a recent kernel (cvsup at about 9PM EST 3/8/98), I'm getting the
above panic when untarring a file located in a filesystem NFSv3
mounted from a Digital UNIX 4.0b fileserver into a directory on the
same filesystem.

The stack trace is:

The FreeBSD client is a 300Mhz PII, and is connected to the fileserver
via a 100Mb full-duplx switched network. The only unusual thing about
my configuration is that soft-updates are enabled; but I've been seeing
panics with nfs_vinvalbuf() on the stack for quite a while -- usually
when compiling hello_world.c, removing it, and building it again.
