This seems like a misguided decision. Why impose technological restrictions overbroadly in order to impose good manners policy on a few naive users and miscreants. It's like banning all use of airplanes in order to stop cocaine from being delivered from Colombia to Miami. Wrong solution. Overbroad. Ineffective.
