Hi, I'd like to use my system's HP NetRAID (AMI MegaRAID) controller to mirror its two drives, but FreeBSD can't boot from the amrd device. I was wondering then if it's possible to use a CD-ROM or (gasp) floppy to boot the system and have it switch-over somehow to the amrd device. If that's not possible, could I use a CD-ROM as the root and mount everything else from amrd0? Any pointers on doing this? As Mike Myers would say on "Coffee Tawlk": Discuss! (I'm not subbed to this list, please CC: me.) Thanks!
