Hi,

I'm seeing a kernel panic on a fairly recent 9.2-STABLE/amd-64 synced on
26 Dec 2013. It's easily reproducible on my system:

  1. Call up squirrel-sql (running openjdk6)
  2. Change the L&F to GTK+
  3. System panics.

Thankfully, it's easily revertable!

The relevant portions of core.txt:

Unread portion of the kernel message buffer:
panic: Bad entry start/end for new stack entry
cpuid = 4
KDB: stack backtrace:
#0 0xffffffff80949316 at kdb_backtrace+0x66
#1 0xffffffff8090ef1e at panic+0x1ce
#2 0xffffffff80b83014 at vm_map_stack+0x274
#3 0xffffffff80b852bf at vm_mmap+0x67f
#4 0xffffffff80b85a6c at sys_mmap+0x1dc
#5 0xffffffff80cf368a at amd64_syscall+0x5ea
#6 0xffffffff80cddda7 at Xfast_syscall+0xf7

I noticed in the archives that some other people are experiencing the
similar kernel panics when using OpenJDK on 9.2-STABLE.

Cheers.
