I am trying to get my floppy drive to mount, and get errors. I issue the
command:

mount -t ufs /dev/fd0 /floppy

and get the following error message:

>fd0: Operation timeout
>fd0d: hard error reading fsbn 16 of 16-31
> (ST0 ffffffff<invld,abnrml,seek_cmplt,equ_chck,drive_notrdy,top_head> ST1
ffffffff<end_of_cyl,bad_crc,data_overrun,sec_not_fnd,write_protect,no_am>
ST2 ffffffff<ctrl_mrk,bad_crc,wrong_cyl,scn_eq,scn_not_fnd,bad_cyl,no_dam>
cyl -1 hd -1 sec -1)

(The disk, incidentally was made using rawrite, and the cpio.flp image)

What gives?

FYI: Here is output from dmesg
