I have fbsd 4.4-r with xfce-3.8.6 as my wm, also have kde and gnome insta= lled=20 so I can run certain programs. When I run Konsole I get the following err= or: There was a error setting up inter-process communications for kde. the er= ror=20 was: could not read network connection list. /home/wayne/.DCOPserver_wayne.gibson.org_:0 please check that the DCOPserver program is running There's no man entry for DCOP or DCOPserver. What is the DCOPserver? Is this something that has to be stared by rc.con= f or=20 services or whatever? I then hit the okay button (kde is toooooo much lik= e=20 winblows - why an ok button when it's obviously not okay?), the konsole l= oads=20 up fine. -- Chip To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
