I would be, since I use a CD 2% of the time, and am on the road 15% of
the time, lugging around a useless CD-ROM plus all of the 'support'
weight for having the flexiblity.

And, when *your* batteries go dead on a trip across the country (which
they will fairly quickly), I can still listen to my CD's on the
headphones.  (Assuming I've brought the player along :)
