The best way is to avoid comparing FreeBSD with Linux, other than in a 
positive light.  From the standpoint of a user, they are very similar,
and share a lot of common code: XFree86, window managers, sendmail, BIND,
etc.

See the July and August Daemon's Advocate columns in Daemon News for
examples.  ;^)
