The next release of portupgrade will be a bit more verbous by default.

Isn't -n what you want? Or portversion -L =.

Hmm, I can't think of another tool which can keep logs of the build
while it allows some interactive ports which use such as dialog(1) to
run correctly.
FWIW, it's all the same if I implement script(1) myself. Maybe the
raw mode is supposed to be so. Any idea?
