Built a new kernel last night and rebooted. My mount_msdos statement hung. I used top and ld was spinning like a big dog with modload under it. Rebuilt the lkm. Same thing. Went back to the previous kernel. Mounts fine. Hmmm. Thought maybe someone would care.
