Which one?  Or do you mean XFree86?  The window manager is an optional
component, and you have a choice of more than 10 different ones.

Did it run correctly and not produce any error messaegs?  What
hardware do you have?

I know it's a pain to type in all this stuff, especially when you
don't have X running and really have to type it in, but I'm afraid I
can't help unless you report things accurately.  In this case, I have
serious doubts.

I don't know a program called XF86Setup.  What do you mean here?

Do you mean startx?  I don't know an xstart either.
