>Description:
The trm driver for the Tekram DC-395U SCSI adapter card is not in the
GENERIC kernel, thus it is not possible to (easily) install FreeBSD on
a system that uses this SCSI card to boot from.

>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:

I guess that there are a number of other drivers that may be required
in the install floppy for specific machines, and they are not there due
to lack of space. (perhaps?)
I would suggest that the FreeBSD release team consider releasing
a total of 2 kern.flp floppy disk images. The first is the "normal"
install image. The second is an alternate image that contains an
alternate kernel, which carries the drivers that are missing from
the main one. Most people would of course continue to use the
normal kern.flp file to install FreeBSD from, and only people with
"weird" hardware would use the alternate kernel.
