Well, now I have -current on my Sony Viao FX-290. XFree and many other apps seem to be working OK. I am wondering if I can help test anything for Sony laptops? I have -stable on another partition, so otherwise its just a novelty. It certainly looks like a giant leap forward from -stable. I appreciate the work the developers are doing!
