Subject: "command not found" for mc after pkg_add and reboot

I found the program mc in the misc section of the ports on the FreeBSD cd.
I changed to that directory and executed pkg_add mc. mc was added to the
ports tree on my computer. When I try to execute mc, even as root, though,
I get the message, "command not found."

Did I miss a step? It worked for bash.

Thanks,

Andrew Gould
