I put some rules in the hosts /etc/devfs.rules file. On reboot these new rules get enabled. I would like to enable new rules without rebooting the system. Read the devfs man page and issued some commands but got message saying unknown argument. Say I have a rule number 10 that I added to the /etc/devfs.rules file. How would I go about enabling it without a reboot? Thanks
