At CTM #0345, my make world is starting to get increasingly weird; now
the kernel starts to dump core while processing. I NEVER had that kind
of problem before, and the machine is usually running for hours.

=====================> make world output

My system configuration is the following:

ASUS TX97E with AMD K6/200; 64 MB RAM (FPM 60ns and never had any
problems)
Adaptec 2940U; Quantum Fireball TM3200S Ultra; Toshiba 5701
Matrox Mystique
Ancient Mitsumi CDROM for use when SCSI fails

and the other stuff shouldn't matter.

Anyone out there able to tell me what's going wrong?

And BTW - what kernel config options are best for the K6? I've
configured it for I586_CPU with faster FPU exception handler. (Could
this or my -O3-optimized kernel be source of the problem? Would be
rather surprising, though.)
