>Environment:

Installation for i386 using Walnut Creek CDROM.

>Description:

Many X11 applications installed as packages from the CDROM will not work
unless libkrb is installed. Unfortunately, libkrb does not appear to be
available on the CDROM, so they must all be rebuilt from the ports tree.
It would seem better if CDROM installations did not assume network access
in order to build libkrb. Perhaps it should be included on the CD, or pkgs
should not be built to rely on it.

>How-To-Repeat:

install afterstep from packages off a CDROM.

>Fix:

Don't build packages which require libkrb.
