while possible this is not what you are expecting..
you only have one keyboard so that is going to be difficult..

You CAN sometimes run 2 video cards, but they are not really set up to do
that.
I presume your daughter wants to have SOME graphics so she can surf?
if not, and she's happy with text, then she just needs a seral terminal.
You can pick up old ones for $20 at scrap places all-over.

In the case where she would like her own full console, then you have more
of a problem.
possibly the cheapest answer would be to get a OLD 86 and configure it up
to boot into X, so that she can run a remote X-terminal from the main
machine.

The extra PC comes with a cheap graphics card, a keyboard, mouse and maybe
about 40MB of disk would get you up and going..
(8MB ram would be good though)

You proably don't want to figure out how to add a second video and
keyboard.. I'd hesitate, and I'm no newbie.

What does she want to DO with it..
(it really effects the answer..
alternatively, if YOU only use text, let her have theh console,
and YOU can have the text mode on a serial terminal.. :-)
