Just taken delivery of a new Dell Poweredge 500SC and the IDE controller
only seems to be identified as generic, is there anything I can do to
correct this? I'd kinda like to get it's ATA-100 working, not a great worry
as it was a freebie with another order..

I've added dmesg and pciconf -l below.
