Synopsis: source mechanism of /etc/rc.conf* files

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: dougb
State-Changed-When: Sat Feb 3 21:52:26 PST 2001
State-Changed-Why:

is sourced from many different locations at many different times (not
just at boot). It should be a pure configuration file.
