There is recommenedation to use devel/pybugz package here: https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-announce/2014-June/001559.html. It would be good to write little remark how to use bugz, with details specific to FreeBSD, some thin like this: http://www.liquidx.net/pybugz It is very important that there are no further obstacles to send patches and bug reports.
