Preface... KDE is pretty fun, I've been finding my way around it and its
browser "Konqueror" for a couple days now (being very new to XFree86).

FYI I donno if this helps but I installed KDE 2.2.2 from /stand/sysinstall
(or using pkg_add -r) since that way the dependencies were installed too.

[For the life of me I can't upgrade to 3.0.1 but that's tomorrow's headline.]

From www.kde.org I learned that Qt is some kind of behind the scenes
platform that is necessary for apps to run (hope I don't sound too
technical here -hehe-)
