yes, apm is in kernel, apm ver 1.2 is announced during bootup
apm_enable="YES" is in rc
apm at cli shows it active
shutdown -p doesn't seem to call anything, apm_power_down() does not seem
to exist anywhere in any program, library or header file except for
../i386/apm.c
