I have noticed that numerous applications, including HTLM forms tend to insert where-ever the mouse pointer is rather than where the cursor is. Or, maybe, as soon as you click the mouse to do the insert, it first changes the cursor position to wherever the pointer is and then does the insert. So, I just have to make sure I move my mouse pointer to exactly where I want things to insert. I get caught on this frequently.
