Was this OK'd by Ville Eerola, the port maintainer?

I think this is not the correct fix (though it does serve as a temporary
workaround, once again sorry for breaking the port in the patches I submitted
to Ville Eerola). The correct fix should tweak the drain-bamaged aclocal.m4,
which in several places explicitly removes -lintl from LIBS :( I'm working
on this as we speak, and I think I'll be ready with upgrade patches to
submit to Ville Eerola by the end of the day.

G'luck,
Peter
