I am having a problem with the mountd server on a FreeBSD machine.
I get assorted mountd err. messages but the most consistent of these is
a "can't open /var/db/mountdbtab message".  I have tried various
combintations of ownerships of this and /etc/exports but I can't resolve
this.

Any suggestions?
