First of all, try using a subject line in your mail.

>i need some help.can anyone please tell me where i can get mail client for freebsd which lets you >specify a return address.i cant find one.even pine doesnt let you.guess they are meant for >people running a server.

>i would reall appreciate any help.thanks!

Now, goto /etc and edit the file sendmail.cf. Add a line like this (or change the existing line):

DM<default.return.host>

Mine looks like this:

# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading) (see also $=M)
DMnanoteq.com
