I have exactly the same occurring with FreeBSD installed on an SSD. After
simulating power outages, the system refuses boot. Booting into single user
mode and trying fsck ends with "fsck_ufs: Directory 1284157 name not found"=

This is FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p12. The SSD is mSATA iSLC unit.
