On a serious note...

OpenBSD is reportedly having some
success on a desktop- is using -CURRENT
on dev's desktop religiously (so I've
heard) something related?

(e.g. working sound out of the box)

I have sound with  www/firefox  without
pulseaudio, albeit firefox 28 segfaults from
time to time (see gecko@ if really 
interested).

My desktop experience from few years
on -CURRENT/STABLE- with stable/sane 
configuration that's working it's a bliss, 
however when something goes awry... 
Few hours of frustration almost guaranteed.

And sometimes it goes that way due to 
some update unfortunately.
