If you want to share files with win98 you need samba. That is in the
ports collection. If you want to share an internet connection you
need to look at NAT. You will need to compile a new kernel but you
probably should do some research about it all on the freebsd web site
first before you compile a kernel. A very good book to use for all
freebsd needs is Greg Lehey's book "The Complete FreeBSD". Then for
Samba there is numerous books on Samba.
