The workaround is to uninstall phpXX-snmp but this is not desirable as other installed software may use it successfully. An alternative is to forcibly cause cacti to use the binaries and skip the autodetection of the PHP functions. This patch adds an option (default on) to override the automatic detection = and force the use of the binary utils. Committer: please ignore gettext warnings, cacti has internal gettext handl= ing. I've requested merge-quarterly as it affects the basic usage of cacti for users.
