If you could give a little more
info, would be better.
Looks that you loaded module and
have it listed after kldstat? If
so, it is there. My guess (in the
dark) is that you read dmesg from
the start point. Since you don't
have iwi on the start, it is not
there.
Could you try "ifconfig"? What it
says?
Or "vmstat -i"?
What you have after "netstat -rn"?
