That's kind of weird then, as the port would then just install in ${SITE_PERL}/${PERL_ARCH}, in this case that would make /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Mail/SPF/Query.pm, just as you expected. Do you still have the output of the build hanging around somewhere? I just tried it on a 4.11 box: ===> Returning to build of p5-Mail-SPF-Query-1.997 ===> p5-Mail-SPF-Query-1.997 depends on file: /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/URI.pm - found ===> p5-Mail-SPF-Query-1.997 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/perl5.8.7 - found ===> Configuring for p5-Mail-SPF-Query-1.997 Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Writing Makefile for Mail::SPF::Query ===> Building for p5-Mail-SPF-Query-1.997 [ ... ] ===> Checking if mail/p5-Mail-SPF-Query already installed Installing /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Mail/SPF/Query.pm Installing /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.7/man/man3/Mail::SPF::Query.3 Installing /usr/local/bin/spfd Installing /usr/local/bin/spfquery So it WorksForMe (tm) -- Riemer Palstra Amsterdam, The Netherlands riemer@palstra.com http://www.palstra.com/
