FreeBSD myhakas.matti.ee 4.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 4.0-CURRENT #0: Sat Feb

>Description:

I tried to get bridging work with Intel EtherExpress Pro/100+ cards,
but no success. Luigi Rizzo <luigi@iet.unipi.it> told me that he
forgot to add relevant bits to some netcard drivers while porting to
3.0/4.x.

>How-To-Repeat:

Read /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/LINT and do the appropriate work.

>Fix:

I downloaded the 3.0-RELEASE patch from http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/ip_dummynet/
and used the if_fxp.c patch it contained. The if_fxp.c patch applied
almost cleanly. At least the if_de.c needs patching also, for others
I don't know.
