:Yes, I have seen this on fresh installs.  /usr/compat seems to be the default
:for new installs, but it hasn't always been that way and isn't required to be
:like that.

    I noticed that too.  But when I run the linux netscrape it expects 
    the old place, so I had to make a symlink.
