When we installed it on this box, we downloaded the latest files from the FTP site. Our equipment is as follows: Pentium PIIB dual 350 Processors on an Asus motherboard 386 MB of RAM all on a 100 MHz buss Adaptac 2940 U/W/SCSI with a Fujitsu 18.8 GB wide Scsi Diamond Stealth video card and a 100 Bt Kingston NIC The problems are: Well it would if FreeBSD 3.0 wasn't so messed up. Quotas still aren't working, and for some reason 3.0 went to non-static libraries which is what's breaking the ls commands in wu-ftp. I cant sandbox the systems without static libraries. So it looks like 3.0 is giving you: Quotas that don't work and Cripples security software that uses static libraries, wohoo! As you can tell my Engineer, has been using FreeBSD since 2.2 is about to pull his hair out. Could some one give us a fix on this or tell us how to work around it. We really need to get this server going and we have more hours on this one box, trying to get it running than we have spent on the last three mail servers we have built .. using 2.7. Please helps..
