I am having problems with my Hayes 5609AM internal modem. The sio probe
does not consistently succeed with this device. Sometimes, it is recognised
as a 16550; other times the port is not even recognised at all. The port
is sio0, the OS is FreeBSD 2.1, and the box is a 386/25.
Has anyone had any success with one of these devices?
