FreeBSD <hostname> 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #0: Sun Feb 24 10:24:36 UTC 2008 root@driscoll.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC AMD64
>Description:
When using sysinstall to install packages from CD, sysinstall doesn't unmount the current CD when it needs a different CD. Because of this the drive is locked and can't be ejected/swapped (which can be annoying when you're installing something like KDE that has lots of dependancies spread across several CDs).

>How-To-Repeat:
>From a fresh (minimal) FreeBSD install, start sysinstall, select "configure", select "media: CD/DVD", then select "Packages", then choose something large with lots of dependancies that aren't already installed (KDE, Gnome, etc).

>Fix:
When sysinstall asks if you want to switch CDs, tell it "yes", then switch to a different virtual terminal and manually "unmount /cdrom", then switch CDs, then "mount /cdrom" and switch back to the sysinstall virtual terminal.
