David Chisnall <theraven@FreeBSD.org> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org>'s request for maintainer-feedback to multimedia@FreeBSD.org: Bug 205184: multimedia/vlc package can not play BluRay https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=205184 --- Description --- Is there a reason why the LIBBLURAY option defaults to OFF, meaning that anyone installing VLC from packages and wanting to play BluRay must build it themselves? DVD support is enabled by default, and the libbluray ports are not marked as restricted, so the packages do exist.
