Anybody care to engineer a comprehensive mirror stats-gathering
system?  I would love to see one. 

We just need uniform stats calculation on each mirror, and the
summaries made available via http.  The have a program to weave
the data into a nice HTML file.  That file could either propogate
back to the mirrors via the normal mirroring methods or each
mirror could do the gathering of stats itself.
