Having to follow myself up because I was an idiot.  The Asus
board has an AMD K5-PR133, the ABIT a PR-166.

So the slower cpu is on the board with the better performance
to main memory.  Could the 1.5 vs 1.75 multiplier for 133/166
respecitively be an issue?
