I use Applix on FreeBSD running Linux emulation and it works just fine.
 The Linux version of WordPerfect is a very good word processing
 package.

If you want spreedsheet packages that work better than those included
in office suites try NeXs or XESS.  Check www.ais.com  and www.xess.com
