The 1060S isn't bad, they just had a problem with the onboard firmware. It has
problems with the large transfers that FreeBSD and Linux do. There is a patch
available from the people at Conner. The contact person that I used is:
Soenke BEHRENS Soenke.BEHRENS@conner.com

After I applied their patch, all my problems disappeared. I don't know about
the 1080S though.
