I'm not sure what you're asking about; while the 3.4 if_ep driver supports hard wired 'hints' it has code that probes for 3c509s and detects -any- that are installed. It will attempt to match up those it finds with the hints specified in the kernel config file but if there are no matches it will just use what it finds. Does your card work or not? -- | Matthew N.
