I'm sending this letter now out of KMail on the laptop in question. Even the buildworld went without incident. Spent the better part of last night just dealing with the more mundane issues of getting X to play nice on this thing. It's not 100% as of yet though. I'm still getting "ed0 timeout" errors coming at me while using this box. For example, let's say I type... ping www.yahoo.com I'll get at least 2-3 timeout warnings for ed0, then it'll go and ping normally. It seems that there things are still bumping heads a bit. Even still, I'm getting out the door with this box now on STABLE. If you want to see my kernel config, dmesg, or any of that stuff let me know and I'll get that stuff to ya in a private mail. Ahh, KDE is a perty thing to behold after this much of a battle with the NIC. Later on, -- "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
