The motivation for this PR was that my system complained ("USE_BZIP2 is
deprecated, blah blah") when I installed the port. Since I noticed the
complaint, I thought I'd contribute a fix for it instead of just ignoring it. I
don't have commit access obviously, so the next best thing (in my mind) was to
make the change myself and submit the patch. I figured it would take about 30
seconds for someone to look at the extremely simple change and say "ok" and
commit it.

Just trying to help, but I see that it's cumbersome. I wont do this in the
future.
