For example, TCP/IP's descriptions define three to five layers in the protocol's architecture, combining or ignoring the layers that are either not used or not viewed as separate entities when applied to the TCP/IP protocol. Take a look at ISBN 0-56592-322-7 for an example of I'm talking about. Keep in mind what each layer does and why the OSI model is layerized in the first place, too. :) | | | Hi is just a thought about the OSI 7 layer model. | | And the example in theory. | | Lets say I want to add an additional layer like security. How | would I justify some recommendation to add an additional | layer to make it 8 layers. | | HOw would I make the OSI 7 layer model 5 layers and how would | I justify that theoritical solution. | | HELP ME | | Deeply confused Danny | | reply to me | | freebsd@start.com.au | -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.0.2i iQA/AwUBN0eqdFR8Yh25VFLEEQKWWgCeKZ+TzMAquEGbY7ZE+9ZQ/8FET9EAnjYp GQvZN+EAPbLpttBoHeLMrijg =Ar+Y -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
