Do you think you can add another entry to en/news.xml? I'm inclined to think that new releases of GNOME or KDE on FreeBSD are more important to casual users than the names of the last N committers given commit bits (of course that's also news, but we shouldn't let our news box become solely a new committer box on our front page).
