I've got two users on the machine (armijn and build), the first of which is in the wheel group, the latter isn't. Now, when I log an as "armijn" and then do "su -" everything works as expected, same for user "build". If I login as user "armijn", then do a "su - build" and then do a "su -", I do get asked for the root password. If I type it in I get a root prompt. If I first log in as user "build", then do a "su - armijn" and try "su -" the only thing I get is "Sorry". I checked with a FreeBSD 4.7 box and there it works as I expected (as in, always able to su to root as user "armijn", but never as user "build"). Is this a genuine bug, or just PEBKAC? armijn -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- armijn@nl.linux.org | http://people.nl.linux.org/~armijn/ | Penguin Power --------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://nl.linux.org/ | Alles over Linux --------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
